Copyright Resources for Librarians is a collection of resources about copyright, the First Sale doctrine, and Fair Use in libraries compiled for my IST 511 Introduction to Libraries and Course taught by R. David Lankes in Fall 2010. I worked on this with Patricia Alvayay, Tessa Brawley, Sara Hulka, Ryan E. Johnson, Allison Kowalski, and Emily Weyant.
Creating a Learning Commons for SUNY IT is the literature review portion of a semester-long project for my IST 613 Library Planning, Marketing, and Assessment class taught by Jill Hurst-Wahl. Our group was tasked with creating a project plan, marketing plan, and assessment plan for implementing a learning commons in Cayan Library on SUNY IT campus. I worked on this project with Patricia Alvayay, Tessa Brawley, and Allison Kowalski.
Typeface Classification is a powerpoint presentation created for Barbara Kwasnik’s Spring 2011 IST 616 Information Resources – Organization and Access online class. The assignment was to analyze a classification scheme; describing the organization and depth while offering some critique.
A Call for Change in E-book Lending Policies is a paper written for Steve Sawyer’s Fall 2011 IST 618 Information Policy class. My group chose to write about the implications of e-book lending in libraries. I worked on this with Patricia Alvayay, Ryan Johnson, and Emily Weyant.
Twitter 101 is a presentation that was given to the faculty and staff of the Syracuse University College of Visual and Performing Arts. It gives a basic introduction to Twitter. This presentation was given as part of my IST620 Advanced Topics in Information Innovation class. I presented together with Jennifer Liddy.
Twitter 201 is the followup to Twitter 101. It is an examination of the advanced techniques used to build a community, develop a reputation, and interact with social networks as a representative of the Syracuse University College of Visual and Performing Arts. This presentation was given as part of my IST620 Advanced Topics in Information Innovation class. I presented together with Jennifer Liddy.
